Blink POV / AVR!

Page maintained by Eric Hazen (e-mail: hazen@bu.edu)

This page describes various POV (Persistence Of Vision) devices, which display messages in mid-air when you wave them back and forth.

Blinky POV / AVR

This is the latest version as built for Driscoll School Science Solstice 2012. It is inspired by the excellent Blinky POV by Wayne and Layne. We made our own because we prefer to use the AVR microcontroller family (thus the AVR in the name).

USB POV

This version was built in 2011 and uses a USB cable for programming.

Older Version

The MiniPOV3 was used in 2010 for this activity. We made a new version because we wanted to be able to program using USB.
