The Electronics Design Facility is a small shop that offers a relaxed yet focused work environment. Engineers and technicians work both independently and in collaboration.

Operating from within the Physics Research Building, the EDF community promotes a collegial educational atmosphere with both the intellectual curiosity and benefits of a large university.

Work-Study

Entry Engineering / Technician - Responsibilities include circuit construction (soldering, cable assembly, light mechanical work) and circuit testing using multimeter, signal generators, and oscilloscopes. Opportunities exist for training in use of CAD software for circuit design, simulation, and PCB layout.

Entry Computer Programmer – Responsibilities include web development, database administration (MySQL), Perl/CGI programming. Previous experience is required; Drupal experience a plus.
